Surf City Explorers Club to the Rescue

Surf City Parks Recreation and Tourism offers childcare help for busy parents this fall.

Need help with your school-aged children this fall? You are not alone! Many parents are struggling to juggle work, school and childcare, and Surf City Parks Recreation and Tourism is ready to help.

Surf City Explorers Club for grades K through 5 will launch on Monday, September 14. The program will include virtual learning assignments as well as specialized instruction, recreation programs, arts and crafts and more. Children will learn and have fun in a safe and caring environment. The program will be held Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Surf City Recreation Center.

Sessions run four weeks at a time, and you can register your child based on their hybrid school schedule. The cost is $25 a day, or for the four-week session it’s $200 for Mondays and Tuesdays, $100 for Wednesdays or $200 for Thursdays and Fridays.
