Pender County Humane Society is proud to announce its 2022 Pet Pals Foto Fundraiser website.
Pender County Humane Society, a no-kill shelter located in Burgaw, is dedicated to improving the lives of homeless and unwanted animals by providing shelter and medical care while finding loving and responsible permanent homes. They work to prevent cruelty and overpopulation among dogs and cats and assist and educate the public about responsible pet care. They rescue animals from Pender, New Hanover and Onslow counties. Not funded by any federal, state or local entities, they rely primarily on donations to operate the shelter.
Pender County Humane Society needs help in funding its organization, and there are two easy ways to help.
1. DONATE DIRECTLY using the MAKE A DONATION button, and your contribution will go to the general fundraising campaign. You can send the overall website link to your contacts, and they can also donate to the general campaign or pick pets they want to support on the special campaign pages.
2. YOU CAN CREATE YOUR OWN FUNDING CAMPAIGN for your own pet(s) to enter them to win special recognition with Pender Humane by using the BECOME A FUNDRAISER button. You can enter a picture or pictures of your pets and create a campaign. You then send that link to your contacts asking them to vote for your specific pets. There are categories of Cat, Dog, Horse, Goat and Other! The winner in each category will be determined by the amount of money raised. Pender Humane will announce the winners at their Spaghetti Supper on October 15, 2022, at the Hampstead Women’s Club, 14435 U.S. Highway 17, Hampstead. They will publish the winners’ names and pictures in their newsletter and provide recognition on their website.
